WestSide Corporation respects and values the competitive advantage of “diversity” and the benefit of its integration throughout the Company.  Diversity at all levels of the Company enriches the Company’s perspective, improves corporate performance, increases shareholder value and enhances the probability of achieving the Company’s objectives. 

WestSide is committed to promoting diversity at all levels of the Company including the Board, senior management, and within the technical and financial management and support functions of the Company.  WestSide will seek diversity in skills, experience, perspectives and styles that have been developed on account of employees’ origin, culture, gender, age or other experiences.

WestSide acknowledges that gender diversity is low in the Oil and Gas sector and that to increase the proportion of females in the industry, it is necessary to encourage the entry of graduates to create the opportunity for greater gender diversity in future years.

Policy

WestSide will advance diversity within all levels of the Company by developing strategies that:

  • Attract and retain personnel who enrich diversity within the Company;

  • Develop the collective relevant skills, and diverse experience and attributes of personnel;

  • Ensure the Company’s culture and management systems are aligned with, and promote attainment of, diversity;

  • Set measureable objectives and targets or key performance indicators for the strategies and initiatives to achieve gender and general diversity; and

  • Monitor, review and report to the Board via the Remuneration Committee on the achievement of gender and general diversity within the Company under this Policy.
